Potential (mainly aesthetic?) inspiration for my own paper sculptures:

- suspending paper outside of the studio – in trees, stuck in the ground, in water?
- breaking out of the a-size paper conventions
As Jane is a paper maker, her sculptures are more an exploration of the materiality of the paper itself rather anything held on its surface. What would this bring conceptually to my own sculptures? Would my own sculptures be more effective if I made my own paper? I would have to ensure the paper was thin enough to still retain the sense of translucency that is important to the double-sided nature of them. But perhaps I could even make thinner paper myself?
